Our Story

A Sanasana Village Family, Sharing the Fiji We Actually Live In

Suli Local Adventures started the way most great local businesses do — with someone who knew every inch of the reef, the beach, and the village behind it, and started sharing that with visitors staying next door at the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa.

Today the business is still exactly that: Suli, his family, and a small team of trusted local guides (guests often mention his friend and assistant guide, Sly) running tours out of Sanasana Village on Natadola Bay. No call centre, no franchise, no big fleet of boats — just people who grew up on this beach, taking you out onto it.

What We Believe

Tourism Should Benefit the Village, Not Just the Resort

Sanasana Village sits right behind one of Fiji's most photographed beaches, yet most of the money spent by visitors on Natadola Bay flows straight to large hotel groups and international tour resellers. Suli Local Adventures exists to change that math, one snorkeling trip, one horse ride and one village visit at a time.

When you book directly on WhatsApp instead of through a resort activities desk, more of what you pay goes to the people who live here — and you get a more personal, more flexible day out in return.

“If you are looking for an amazing and authentic Fiji experience, you have come to the right place. Suli is your perfect local tour guide. For what the hotel would normally charge one person for a tour, Suli took our whole family for the same price.”

“Highlight of our Fiji holiday. Located right at the edge of the InterContinental's beach where the headland bends — look for the guy in the cowboy hat and his friend Sly. They gave my wife and I a private, unforgettable afternoon.”

“What a unique and fun adventure for our family. We started by meeting Suli in his village and learning about the drum used to call everyone to church, then spent the day exploring a nearby island. A genuinely local experience.”
